Available in two trims, XE and
XT, Tata’s all-new Punch crossover come equipped with a slew of features and
extras to keep you safe on and off-road. Standard features include airbags, ABS
brakes, an anti-theft alarm system, remote keyless entry, and window tinting. There
are two engines available for both trim levels. The XT will offer a 1.3L
twin-cylinder gasoline engine with 100 horsepower while an optional 1.2L diesel
power plant will be an option as well. The XE is equipped with a smaller 1.0L
turbocharged three-cylinder engine good for 83 horsepower but no diesel option
will be available at launch on these trim levels.
Tata has revealed that its first-ever
premium sport-utility vehicle, known as Tata Punch, will cost between Rs 5.83
lakh and goes up to 9.49 lakh* (ex-showroom, Delhi). The car was launched with
an introductory price of just Rs 5 lakh for a limited period of time; however,
it’s now back to its normal price range and is being sold at various
dealerships in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Pune. Tata claims that all
variants of its new Punch SUV are currently available for customers to book but
